Lana and Drosh on Nutmeg Junction!

Since January 2018, both Lana and Kurt (Drosh) have been appearing in the radio show “Nutmeg Junction.” It is a audio drama/comedy in the spirit of old-time radio, and it is pretty awesome story-telling.  They’re both in a lot of episodes, but in particular they are in the “Professor A” episodes, which is a multi-dimensional space adventure series.

You can learn more about it, listen to episodes, find out on what local radio station you can listen to episodes on, and subscribe to the podcast here: https://nutmegjunction.com/

Kurt/Drosh on Denver Underground Radio!

Howdy, Kurt here.

I wanted to let everyone know that I can now be heard deejaying on the radio, every Sunday evening 9pm – midnight eastern time. The show is called “A Broken Thread” and is a free-form show, so pretty much anything can happen.

You can listen live from anywhere in the world by tuning in at https://www.denverundergroundradio.com or by telling your smart-speaker to “play Denver Underground Radio.”

You can also check out the archive of past shows (I’ve been doing this since last summer) here: https://www.mixcloud.com/drosh/

Danielle Ate the Sandwich & GlumPuppet, June 15, Best Video in Hamden

GlumPuppet will perform a short opening set on Monday, June 15th, opening for Danielle Ate the Sandwich at Hamden Best Video. Doors 7:30; show starts promptly at 8 pm. There is a $5 cover.

Danielle Ate the Sandwich is an amazing singer/songwriter. From her website:

Danielle Ate the Sandwich is the stage name of indie-folk, songwriter, Danielle Anderson. Danielle is best known for her homemade and quirky YouTube videos and her recent work, composing the original soundtrack to the HBO documentary film “Packed in a Trunk: The Lost Art of Edith Lake Wilkinson.” Her music career began modestly at open mic nights in Fort Collins, Colorado, and was unexpectedly jumpstarted by the popularity of her YouTube videos, that showcase her songs and silly personality. The true power of Danielle Ate the Sandwich, however, is her ability to sing stories both grand and small, with sweet vocals and thoughtful, honest lyrics. Danielle Ate the Sandwich has been touring nationally since 2009, cultivating a loyal and dedicated fan base, affectionately referred to as ‘Fanwiches.’

We are excited and honored to be able to share the evening with her. Please come see us!

Thanks for Stopping By Our Booth!

Here’s a video of some who did. ConnectiCon was a blast thanks to you!

Also, thanks to all who came to ConnectCon to catch GlumPuppet perform on the Crawl at Black-eyed Sally’s. It was quite nice to perform for a crowd who really “got” us! For the Dr. Who Song, we had all the Whovians (a majority of the room) singing along with vigor. You know you’re in the right place when you overhear someone saying they’d wished they’d brought their sonic screwdriver! Here’s a video of it, thanks to our dear friend, Tiffy:

OUR NEXT SHOW will be Friday, August 15th at Best Video in Hamden. We’ll, once again, be opening for Pocket Vinyl and performing music live with our videos!
